ADAPTOS and MP-SEC International AB Awarded $9.250M USD Swedish Armed Forces Tender for New Lightweight EOD Disruptor System
The ADAPTOS, MP-SEC Collaboration will Advance the EOD Capabilities of the Newest Member of NATO
26 MAY 2026
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA, USA – ADAPTOS, LLC, in partnership with MP-SEC International AB, announced today that they have been awarded a Swedish Armed Forces tender for a new lightweight explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) disruptor system. This contract will provide the Swedish Armed Forces greater agility ensuring faster adaptation to changing operational requirements.
The contract, valued at approximately $9.250M USD (85,970,000 Swedish Krona), includes a package of underwater Standard Titanium Targeting Acquisition and Neutralization (TiTAN) Disruption Systems plus TiTAN Consumables Kits. The tender includes a three-year base period with extension options for up to four additional years, for a total potential performance period of seven years.
The award decision was based on the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV)’s evaluation of ADAPTOS’ Standard TiTAN Disruption System and MP-SEC’s bid being deemed the “most economically advantageous with the best balance between price and quality.”
Since becoming the newest member of NATO roughly two-years ago, Sweden has made sweeping investments in defense and continues to execute a historic rearmament, with a sharp focus on equipment acquisition. Sweden’s 2026 Budget Bill increases military spending by 18%, and its defense spending is projected to reach 2.8% of GDP in 2026 and 3.5% by 2030. The Swedish Armed Forces’ record-level investments in NATO integration and interoperability will bolster regional stability as Sweden’s military transitions toward increased multi-domain operations. As Sweden continues its largest defense buildup since the Cold War, it is a great honor for ADAPTOS and MP-SEC to have been awarded the EOD Disruption System tender and emphasizes the superiority of the TiTAN Disruption System.
“We have been working with the team at ADAPTOS since 2012, and we first introduced the TiTAN Disruptor to the Swedish market in 2013,” said MP-SEC Project Manager Johan Brorson. “The system is mature and has been proven worldwide for more than a decade. We are proud to have been entrusted with delivering such a highly capable system as the TiTAN to the Swedish Armed Forces. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to both ADAPTOS and the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) for an excellent collaboration throughout the procurement process.”
“I have worked with MP-SEC for more than a decade, and our partnership is much like the broader defense relationship between the United States and Sweden—built over time through trust, shared values, and a common commitment to security and stability,” said ADAPTOS SVP of Operations Josh Brammer. “The MP-SEC team is truly top notch—highly capable, disciplined, and always ready to deliver. Winning this highly competitive tender together is a testament to years of close collaboration, rigorous preparation, and aligned vision. It reflects the strength of what we’ve built and the confidence our end-users place in our unique capabilities. Just as our nations combine distinct strengths to stand stronger together, our two companies bring complementary expertise with a unified purpose. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and look forward to continuing this successful relationship and delivering for the mission ahead.”
